Worship & Music
Come, let’s shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us!
Let’s march into His presence singing praises,
Lifting the rafters with our hymns!...
So come, let us worship; bow before Him,
On your knees before God, who made us!
Oh yes, He’s our God, and we’re the people of His pastures, the flock He feeds.
(Psalm 95:1-2, 6-7, The Message)
Worship is a vital part of the MUMC experience. Our goal is to encounter God in our worship services through vibrant, relevant worship experiences. Worship is not a “spectator sport.” It requires each of us to engage and to be willing to lay down our lives so that Christ can be glorified in and through us. We were created to bring God glory through every part of our lives; our talents, our families, our work and our actions. We believe that through worship we proclaim God’s glory, we learn God’s truths, we experience God’s grace and we reflect God’s love.
There are many opportunities for you to be involved in the Worship Leadership of MUMC!

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you:
Take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before God as an offering.
Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him…fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out… (Romans 12: 1&2, The Message)
