Led by Rev Nancy Tinnell, Weaving the Silences is designed to help you reach out to Christ through various modes of prayer and the intermittent use of contemplative silence.
This 24-hour period will allow you to break from the distractions of the loud world and enter the stillness of a wilderness time.
What to Expect
The beauty of Weaving the Silences is in how it offers solitude within the context of community. Your fellow pilgrims on the journey will be seeking an encounter with the sacred, just as you are. The atmosphere will be relaxed, and our hope is that by participating you will find a welcome respite from your normal routine.
Dress comfortably and be prepared to spend brief periods of time outdoors, weather permitting. Don't forget your Bible and a notebook for journaling.
