In observance of Veterans Day, we will again be collecting clothing and other items during the month of November.
All types of men’s and women’s clothing in good condition can be donated. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year we cannot collect used books. The Veterans Affairs hospitals have specifically requested crossword and other types of puzzle books in addition to new decks of playing cards. Donated items can be dropped off in the donation room off the Narthex. The collected items will be delivered to Veterans Affairs hospitals and veteran support organizations in our region for use by veterans receiving treatment. Audio books and movies (VHS and DVD) are welcome as well.
The book and clothing drive will begin November 1 and run through December 1.
If you will be making a delivery to the church during a weekday, please call the church office in advance.
