Small Groups and Bible Studies
We believe that discipleship (growing more like Jesus) happens in small groups. It happens, not just from teaching and worshiping together on Sunday mornings, but especially by sharing life together with other believers. That is why we feel it is vital for every Christian to be connected with other believers in a safe, grace-filled small group where you can be yourself, find your voice, and make a personal impact in the lives of others. Contact Pastor Matt Bauer if you are interested in joining a small group, and we’ll help find a place that is just right for you.
While small groups offer life-sharing opportunities, relationship building, and accountability, we also offer Bible and book studies to help us grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually into more mature followers of Jesus Christ. Our Bible and book studies meet at 11:00 on Wednesday mornings and offer another great way to connect with others and grow in your faith.
Current Book Study
We are currently studying Pastor Matt’s own book, The Journey to Freedom: Navigating the Roadblocks to Abundant Living and would love for you to join us. Books are available free or for a donation at either campus, including Audiobook and eBook. You can also find this title on Amazon, Kindle, Nook, GooglePlay, and at www.journeytofreedom.net.

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. We encourage you to follow the example of Jesus and serve outside the walls of the church building. Eastwood Campus members have a long history of serving the community. Some of the ministries you can get involved with are:
- AL-ANON
- Lighthouse Academy (tutoring/mentoring)
- Backpack Ministry (food for children)
- Mercy Ministries (serving the forgotten)
- Mobile Medical Ministry
- Mission Trips
- Worship Team
- Media Team
- Trustees/Facilities
- Small Group Leader
Please do not hesitate to reach out to campus pastor Matt Bauer, if you interested in serving any of these ministries, or even if you’re looking for something else or are not sure where you would be the best fit. There is no wrong way to serve the Kingdom of God so try a few of them out. We hope to inspire and discover your abilities so that you can find the perfect place to thrive.
