Welcome to our Eastwood Campus
Middletown and Resurrection United Methodist Churches have been in partnership for a couple of years. The two churches have shared services and staff from time to time. In March of 2019, steps were to taken to formalize the partnership. The Charge Conference of each congregation met and approved a resolution to merge the two congregations. The Annual Conference approved the merger.
The Resurrection building and congregation will become a second campus for Middletown United Methodist Church and will be known as the Eastwood Campus of Middletown United Methodist Church. The merger was pursued for missional reasons. The Shelbyville Road corridor east of the Snyder is growing rapidly. In additional to the existing developments there is a new subdivision going up directly across the street from the church. The merger will give us a presence in this rapidly growing area. We will be developing ministries to reach to persons in the area with the love of Christ.
There is a place for you at our Eastwood Campus.
Worship With Us. Discover Christ.

Find a Ministry to Serve
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. We encourage you to follow the example of Jesus and serve outside the walls of the church building. Eastwood Campus members have a long history of serving the community. Some of the ministries you can get involved with are:
- AL-ANON
- Portland Promise Center
- UofL Student Ministry – The Gathering
- Eastern Area Community Ministry (EACM)
- Worship Team
- From leading a prayer in service, to playing an instrument, to heading a Sunday School class – there is a place for you!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to campus pastor, Leslie Robinette, if you interested in serving any of these ministries. There is no wrong way to serve the Kingdom of God so try a few of them out. We hope to inspire and discover your abilities so that you can find the perfect place to thrive.
