Pray for General Conference Prayer Stations
From April 23 to May 3, we will engage in worship and holy conferencing, for the purpose of interpreting the work of The United Methodist Church for the present age. Delegates will consider hundreds of petitions and make a wide array of decisions, guiding the denomination in its allocation of resources, its position on major issues, and its priorities for ministry.
This is a tremendous undertaking, and we can participate with the delegates through our commitment to pray for them as they enter this time of deliberation.
We will have open prayer stations in the main campus sanctuary April 23 through May 3, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The Eastwood campus sanctuary will be open on April 24 from Noon to 1 pm.
Jennifer Gilcreast grew up in western PA near Pittsburgh. She graduated from Asbury University (piano performance) and Notre Dame (MM), playing the organ where she attended. She taught music in Jessamine and Bullitt counties, and teaches choir and music at Highlands Latin School. She has 4 children age 18-24. Hobbies include cookings, reading, and being in nature.
