Winter Blitz is just around the corner. It’s the perfect event for youth who are looking for a unique weekend experience that has it all: engaging speakers, uplifting worship music, and along with entertainment and plenty of downtime for hanging out. Students will leave encouraged and challenged to keep growing in their faith.
We will be staying in the Loft and shuttling to and from Christ United Methodist Church for the event. The dates are January 12-13. The cost is just $50 for the weekend which includes a t-shirt, breakfast and another meal on Saturday. The featured speaker for this year’s event is Reverend Jamelle Jones, Wesley Foundation’s campus pastor at the University of Louisville. Adult Chaperones have fun too and make this weekend possible. Jennifer Gilcreast grew up in western PA near Pittsburgh. She graduated from Asbury University (piano performance) and Notre Dame (MM), playing the organ where she attended. She taught music in Jessamine and Bullitt counties, and teaches choir and music at Highlands Latin School. She has 4 children age 18-24. Hobbies include cookings, reading, and being in nature.
