Mark your calendars for January 24-25 when Roots takes a road trip to Broadway UMC in Bowling Green, KY for this year’s Winter Blitz. It is a one of kind experience you won’t want to miss. Rev. Caleb Wheat, Pastor of a thriving new church plant in Northern Kentucky, will be this year’s speaker. Caleb is known for his relatable style and passion for connecting people to Jesus. He’ll challenge us to live boldly and discover what it means to follow Jesus with purpose and joy. The talented group of musicians from Broadway UMC will be filling the building with inspiring worship music for all the sessions! Join us and prepare to be inspired and uplifted along with other youth ministries from all over Kentucky who are coming together for a weekend of high energy worship and community. Jennifer Gilcreast grew up in western PA near Pittsburgh. She graduated from Asbury University (piano performance) and Notre Dame (MM), playing the organ where she attended. She taught music in Jessamine and Bullitt counties, and teaches choir and music at Highlands Latin School. She has 4 children age 18-24. Hobbies include cookings, reading, and being in nature.
