Current Sermon Series – The Work of the People
September 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd
This series will explore the theology of work and the ways that our regular lives can connect to kingdom living. We hope to encourage people to embrace a holistic understand of shalom and God’s Kingdom as the right ordering of society. As such, anyone working toward human wholeness and fulfillment would be work for the Kingdom.
Any work can be spiritual work. We hope to provide you with a broader range of language around how your regular jobs can contribute to Kingdom living.
Jennifer Gilcreast grew up in western PA near Pittsburgh. She graduated from Asbury University (piano performance) and Notre Dame (MM), playing the organ where she attended. She taught music in Jessamine and Bullitt counties, and teaches choir and music at Highlands Latin School. She has 4 children age 18-24. Hobbies include cookings, reading, and being in nature.
