As many of you are aware, we offered our Sanctuary of Learning program during the fall for the students and families who were particularly challenged by the COVID-19 public school closures and the need for online NTI (non-traditional instruction) learning hubs.
JCPS remains closed to in-person instruction, so we will be restarting our ministry program for Kindergarten-5th grade students. We will open back up beginning Monday, January 11, 2021; hours are 8:30-12 noon.
We currently are at our capacity for the number of students that can be accommodated, but we are maintaining a wait list in the event that spots open up. Please contact Amy Bishop (abishop@middletownumc.org) with additions to the wait list.
We also continue to seek willing volunteers to oversee the students and assist with their work – serving hearts and a face mask are the only requirements! Contact Bonnie Martinell (bamartinell@aol.com) with your availability; high school/college students in need of service hours are welcome.
