We Weren’t Created to be Alone.

We believe we need to learn God’s words within the body of Christ.  Each one of us knows His words to a degree; however, a group of us could see His revelation and light more thoroughly.  The goal of bible study is to associate God’s words with our daily life and to experience that Jesus Christ is the bread of life together.

The Bible is not just for us to keep to ourselves as individuals. It is also useful in helping others. We gain centuries of wisdom and are thus able to help others by studying the Bible. Proverbs, for instance, contain general principles and ideas to assist anyone in living their lives in a way that is helpful and pleasing to God.

We hope you can experience growth in a multitude of ways through one of our Bible Study classes here at Middletown United Methodist Church.

Image Bible Study: Our Identity:Who I Am in Christ

You are invited to a new six‑week Bible study to help women rediscover who they are in Christ.  If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, unsure of your purpose, or simply hungry for a deeper connection with God, this study is for you.  Together, we’ll explore scripture, share real-life stories, and discover what it truly means to find our identity in Christ. You don’t need to have all the answers—just come with an open heart.

This study originated as a men’s daily devotional, written by Pastor Tim Brown (REUP Men’s Movement). Tim asked his cousin, our very own Bobbie Bryant, to reshape it into a women’s study. Using Tim’s original scriptures and questions, Bobbie rewrote the material with her own stories, insights, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, creating a fresh version designed specifically for women.

Before this study is formally published, Image class members will walk through each week’s lesson together, reading, responding, and discussing each section as if it were already published. Your honest feedback, thoughtful questions, and real‑life reactions will help shape the final version. By testing the material in a live small‑group setting, you will ensure the study is clear, meaningful, and spiritually helpful for women of all ages. Your participation will strengthen the content and confirm that the study speaks to the hearts and experiences of those who use it.

All materials will be provided, and there is no fee. Childcare provided upon request. Register online or by calling the church office (245-8839).
