Book and Clothing Drive for Veterans
I would like to thank everyone who donated items for the recent Veterans Book and Clothing Drive. The level of support from the MUMC congregation is truly appreciated by the Veterans. The quality and quantity of the books, clothing, movies, etc. continues to be exceptional year after year. This year over 1,800 books, movies, and clothing items were donated. All of these items have already been delivered to support our Veterans in need. On behalf of our Veterans, thank you.

Pajamas for youth in foster care
The Botner/Meirick Life Group thanks the other Life Groups, the Sunday school classes, and the members of Middletown United Methodist Church for making the pajama drive a huge success! 151 pajamas, 4 men’s T shirts, and two suitcases were delivered to Santa’s Little Helpers, Inc. Your generous donations will be delivered to foster youth in our area in time for Christmas. We were the champions city wide collecting!
In case you were wondering smaller, younger children are handled separately, but also receive pajamas for Christmas.
The coordinator of Santa’s Little Helpers Inc. will be sending tax receipts to those requesting a receipt by email in the days ahead.

EACM Food Drive Results!
Thank you to everyone who donated food and other items to the EACM food pantry. Just in November, we collected 1,529 pounds of food and paper goods and $650.
For the year, we have collected 6,053 pounds of food, 3701 pounds of diapers and 3194 pounds of goods (paper products).
Jennifer Gilcreast grew up in western PA near Pittsburgh. She graduated from Asbury University (piano performance) and Notre Dame (MM), playing the organ where she attended. She taught music in Jessamine and Bullitt counties, and teaches choir and music at Highlands Latin School. She has 4 children age 18-24. Hobbies include cookings, reading, and being in nature.
