For Where Two or Three Gather in My Name, There Am I With Them
Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19, Sunday morning worship have been indefinitely cancelled. Everything about church in the traditional sense has changed. This pandemic is something none of us have ever experienced. How can we continue to be the church in these uncertain times? The MUMC church staff are trying their very best to quickly adapt to the situation we have all found ourselves in.
So, we can’t physically meet on Sundays – but that doesn’t stop us from gathering virtually! Aside from our regular worship services that are posted to our Facebook Page, YouTube channel and website, we are now offering virtual Sunday School, Bible Study, conversations with the pastors, prayer time and more! All of these virtual gatherings will be through Zoom.
Zoom is a powerful video conferencing tool that we will be utilizing heavily during these times when the church doors are closed. If you are unfamiliar with how to operate Zoom then just click the button below to watch a short instructional video on how to get started.Zoom Instructional Video
We have always posted our sermons online but during these times when the church doors are closed we will be posting our entire worship service so that you may feel some sort of connection with God. Times are tough but God is good. These services will be posted to our Facebook page, YouTube channel and right here to our website on Sunday mornings. Just follow the links below to get started.

Virtual Sunday Cafe
In the midst of quarantine we all need ways to connect with each other! One of the ways we normally do this at church is through our conversations before and after church drinking coffee and eating donuts. We wanted to provide this opportunity virtually as a way to check in on each other. You’ll have to provide the coffee and donuts but we can hopefully provide the space for fellowship. The whole family is invited to participate – including pets! You can jump in any time between 10:30am – 11:30am.
Topic: MUMC Virtual Cafe

Rev. Nancy Tinnell will host a “virtual vespers” every Sunday evening at 7 p.m. This brief (20-30 minutes) centering moment and prayer is designed to give us an opportunity at the end of the week to be still and acknowledge our blessings from God.
Virtual Youth Group
If you were missing out on gathering for Youth Group every week then you are in luck. Our Youth Director, Rev. Emily Allen, has set up a weekly virtual youth group so that you can connect to one another and Jesus. The meeting takes place at 2pm every Sunday using Google Meet.
