During the week of July 8-11, many of our youth participated in Mission Week. They spent the week serving around Louisville and at MUMC!
Monday the youth paired up with some of our trustees to complete yard work around the church and spent the afternoon cleaning chairs and toys in the CDC.
Tuesday they went to The Table in Portland where they served diners, cleaned tables, washed dishes and were very hospitable to all guests.
Wednesday they took dinner to Grace Kids! The youth gave the kids enough energy to beat them at dodge ball and Thursday they sorted shoes at WaterStep to provide clean water and resources to underdeveloped countries.
Jesus teaches us about a heart of service and this week our youth were truly the hands and feet of Christ around our community and completing projects that serve the world.
