The Power of Youth.

Simply put, Youth Ministry is the Church’s efforts to help each & every young person grow personally & spiritually. The purpose of our program is to help teenagers and their families encounter the grace of Jesus, nurture them to be Christ centered followers, and send them out to the world as ambassadors of true Christianity.

Youth ministry is more than programs and events – it is an ongoing effort to reach out to youth with the love of God and assist them in exploring ideas, values and faith within the context of a supportive community of peers and adults.

It is a church-wide ministry which strives to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to draw teens into active, responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community and the greater church.

Please take a look at our youth page below – if you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to our Director of Youth Ministries, Emily Allen.

Sunday School

9:40am-10:40am (Meets in The Loft)

Youth Sunday School is an opportunity to grow in faith and understanding of the Bible. Our Middle and High School youth meet weekly to explore the Bible in creative ways and engaging discussions. Youth will be encouraged to put their faith into action and grow in the understanding of the bible.

All of our Sunday School teachers strive to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing learning environment that promotes faith development. Each class has a prepared lesson plan so kids stay engaged and feel their time is being well spent. Have a friend staying the night? Bring them with you! There is always a spot open.

Youth Group

5:30pm-7:30pm (Meets in The Loft)

As members of the body of Christ we are called to connect to one another, grow in our faith and serve those in our community and beyond. During our weekly Youth Group, we strive to inspire our 6th-12th grade youth to grow as members of the body of Christ through discussions of faith and life, in building relationships with fellow youth and adults in the congregation in fun and engaging ways and serve our community during our monthly mission nights. Join us as we learn together to be the body of Christ in our world.

Retreats and Lock-Ins

Someone once said, there is no better way to connect with others (and lovingly pester them) than being together for at least 12 hours – so we plan lock-ins, retreats and big events like Winter Blitz throughout the year.

In the Fall our youth will spend the weekend together for our Youth Group Building retreat. In January, we will gather with the Kentucky Annual Conference for Winter Blitz! A weekend of music, keynote speakers, mission, games and fun! In the Spring, our Middle and High School youth will get “Locked-In” as we spend an evening together of fun and fellowship.
